Community Banner Workshop

During this difficult time we are drawn to the snake as a symbol of creativity, healing, regeneration and rebirth.

Our banner will take the form of a long snake in vibrant colors, made up of sequential blocks made by you! Each block will reflect something the maker wants to change, or shed, in the process of transformation. The finished banner will be displayed along the bridge pathway of Berkeley Art Center from this November through February 2021.

We’ll meet online for an optional, low-key and fun work session on ZOOM where we’ll provide tunes, technical support and a little background on radical textiles. We may be wearing costumes.
